Thanksgiving break
My last practice before my much needed break was Saturday, November 20. Instead of going home to Birmingham, my cousin is picking me up and taking me back to their house in Denver untill the 29th. My mom is flying in on the 21th and my dad is flying in on the 23rd. Happy Thanksgiving to all and I will see all my Bham peeps in December.

Davo's Birthday
Today was Davo's 32nd Birthday...therefore we did 32*200 this morning in practice. I did 3*200 Free on 3:25 and one 200 I.M on 4:00...8 times. Grand Total is 7,000 plus 600 warm-up...OUCH!. We bought Davo a bag of Jalapeno Chips and 2 boxes of Doughnuts. He ate a couple while we went through pain and when we got done, we finished them all in the Hot Tub.
Weights was a toughy too. Went through a hour of pain and finished up with all of us pushing a F150 with Davo in the bed all the way around the OTC....
We finished up the day with a Birthday celebration at Josh N John's Ice Cream...yep, no practice

Acceptance to OTC
On April 8th 2010, I recieved a letter from Paralympic Swim Coach, and former Auburn National Champion, Dave Denniston, that I have been accepted into the U.S. Paralympic Swimming Resident Program that will take place at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs on September 1st.
My last day of working at Lakeshore Foundation will be Friday, August 20th. I will miss everybody there, the staff and the members, but I am very excited to move into the Resident Hall of the OTC and start training for my GOLD medal. I depart Birmingham on Tuesday, August 24th.
